No. Plans are month-to-month. If Ceteris IT isn't the right fit, you can cancel with 30 days' notice — no early termination fees, no multi-year lock-in.

Question 2

We already have someone who handles IT part-time. How does this work alongside them?

Accepted Answer

Common setup. We can work alongside an in-house person or an existing vendor — handling compliance, monitoring, and backups, while they keep doing whatever they already do well. We'll define the boundaries clearly in the onboarding call so nothing falls through the cracks.

Question 3

What happens to our data, and who can access it?

Accepted Answer

Your data stays in your existing systems (Google Workspace, QuickBooks, etc.) — we don't migrate it anywhere new. Access is role-based and logged, and every engagement is covered by a signed Data Protection Addendum as part of our standard agreement.

Question 4

Do you support QuickBooks and the other tools we already use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. QuickBooks, Drake, Lacerte, and standard Microsoft/Google email stacks are the core of what we support day to day — that's the whole point of specializing in accounting firms instead of general small business IT.

Question 5

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

Accepted Answer

Essential includes unlimited remote support during business hours. Professional adds priority response for time-sensitive issues. Either way, you reach a person directly — not a ticket queue.

Question 6

Will you touch anything during tax season without asking?

Accepted Answer

No. All non-urgent maintenance, patching, and updates are scheduled around your deadlines and confirmed with you in advance. Tax season is the one time of year we know not to touch.

Question 7

What if we just want the assessment, not a monthly plan?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly what the assessment is for. It's a one-time engagement with no obligation to continue — you get the report and the action plan either way. If you do sign up for a plan afterward, the $349 is credited toward your first month.
